Contact the Home & Away desk with venue updates and corrections
One email address reaches the people who check the listings. A source link with your message is the fastest way to get a page fixed.
Updated
The one address that works
The editorial desk reads mail at [email protected]. There is no phone line, no street address and no contact form. Email is the only channel, and it goes straight to the people who write and check the pages.
Replies are not instant. Venue updates and corrections are dealt with first, in the order they arrive.
Venue updates: what to send
The most useful message is short and has a link in it. Tell the desk which venue, what has changed and where the change is shown: the venue's own website, a menu page, a post on its official social account. A photo of a chalkboard special is welcome, though a link is better, because the listings are checked against the venue's own published information.
Good things to report include a wing night that has moved to a different day, a happy hour that now starts later, a patio that has closed for the winter, a new kitchen closing time, or a place that has shut for good. Bars in the Beltline and on Whyte Ave can change concepts between seasons, and readers on the ground usually notice first.
If you run a venue and want it considered for a page, the same rule applies. Send the link to where the deal is published. Listings cannot be bought, and a venue is added when it fits a page, not because it asked.
Corrections to facts
If a date, a record, a transit stop or a bag rule on any page is wrong, say which page and which sentence, and add a source. An official arena page, a team release or a news report is ideal. Corrected pages are re-dated so readers can see the fix.
Arena details are the ones most worth flagging. Bag size limits and entry rules at the Saddledome and Rogers Place can change at short notice, and a wrong measurement costs someone a trip back to the car.
What the desk cannot help with
The desk cannot book tables, hold seats or reserve anything at any venue. Call the venue for that.
The Home & Away bar closed in April 2026, and the desk cannot help with its gift cards, staff or past events. What is publicly known about the bar is on the Home & Away history page.
Questions about betting accounts, withdrawals or disputes belong with the operator you hold the account with, or with the AGLC if the issue is about how a registered operator behaves. The site names no operators and cannot look into accounts.
If gambling has stopped being fun for you or someone close to you, the responsible gambling page lists free help in Alberta. The Alberta Health Services Addiction Helpline at 1-866-332-2322 is open 24 hours a day.
What happens to your email
Your message is used to answer you and to fix the page. It is not added to a mailing list, sold or passed to venues. If you would like your message deleted once it has been dealt with, say so in the email. The privacy policy has the details, and the about page explains how the listings are put together.
FAQ
Questions people ask
How do I contact Home & Away about a venue listing?
Email [email protected] with the venue's name, what has changed and a link to where the change is published, ideally the venue's own website. The listing is checked against that source and re-dated once it is updated. There is no phone line or contact form.
Can I book a table or a game night through Home & Away?
No. The guide does not take bookings for any venue and cannot hold tables or seats. Contact the bar or restaurant directly.
Where can I get help with a gambling problem in Alberta?
The Alberta Health Services Addiction Helpline at 1-866-332-2322 is free and open 24 hours a day, and GameSense Alberta offers information and support. The responsible gambling page on this site lists these and other options. The editorial desk itself cannot offer counselling or account help.
